Your loved one is finally home from deployment. You're happy to see your loved one, but you may
notice that he or she acts differently than before. Some of these changes may include: moodiness, forgetfulness,
difficulty concentrating, wanting to be alone, not talking as much, feeling tired often or becoming easily frustrated.
These behaviors are symptoms of a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). mTBI symptoms develop after someone suffers an
injury to their brain from hitting their head or falling down. Just know that the symptoms have nothing to do with you
and there are ways you can help your loved one.
